Taveuni Outer Islands

A 20-minute boat ride takes you to the privately owned island of Matangi, located six miles off the coast of Taveuni.
In this horseshoe shaped natural paradise, only fourteen spacious bures overlook the beach; each one includes a king-sized bed, lounge area with a day bed and private patio.
Three of Matangi's bures are magnificent "Treehouse" bures perched above ground. Matangi's wide variety of outdoor activities includes some of Fiji's best scuba diving (for an additional charge), bird watching, hiking into the rainforest, enjoying secluded beaches, snorkeling, paddle-boarding, windsurfing and saltwater fly fishing.
Visit local Fijian villages or take a picnic to the waterfalls on the island of Taveuni.
