Simon and I both thoroughly enjoyed Turtle Island in absolutely every way. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and was everything that we wanted and more. The staff on Turtle were just sensational and couldn't do enough for us. In fact when we have been describing Turtle and our time on the Island to friends and family, we are saying it was not just a holiday but an entire experience. Bula! My wife and I have visited Turtle Island 3 times for a total of 7 weeks. We have subsequently tried "upscale" resorts in French Polynesia, Bali, Indian Ocean, Mexico, and Hawaii that try to emulate Turtle, but none has the super-friendly staff or outstanding service and food/drinks. We'll be back in a year or so. All in all, it's the friendly, attentive staff that makes the difference, and no other group in the world can sing as well as the Fijian's at Turtle Island.

Our week at Turtle Island was the best vacation we have ever taken. Better than the Carribean, Europe, or Mexico. We are looking forward to returning on our lodge plan! BULA! Meggan and I would like to ask you to extend our thanks to all of the "Turtle Family" on our behalf.

We had very high expectations for our trip based on all of the information we had received since our booking. We would like to let you know that ALL of those expectations were exceeded by our experience. It is fair to say that a place like this exists nowhere else in the world. The food was world class, we never thought we could eat lobster 3 times a day! The bures, both # 1 and #15 were so beautiful and comfortable, and our bure managers cared for us so well. We really savored our time exploring the island especially on our private beach days. The part of the trip that was so pleasantly surprising, was being able to share our days with the other guests or make our days as private as we wished to. Lastly, I wish we could have brought bigger suitcases, it would have made smuggling some of the staff home much easier. The people of Fiji make it the most beautiful place on Earth. Thanks again, we can't wait to go back.

...It made utter sense for us to chose a tradition in which to be married whose spirit was so evident to be kindred to our own. We got to have a wedding without any of the wedding insanity. It came off perfectly, with only two days planning, and we didn't have to lift a finger. The ceremony was part Jewish, part, not exactly Christian, but in a Christian tradition, and all Fijian.

As to Turtle Island itself well, if ever you want to take a trip to the clouds, find a way to go to this place. It's like, as Ron Billingsley would say, crawling into life's fur-lined pocket, complete with in-house catering, private beaches, an undersea world, and the most heartful, doting caretakers ever born to planet earth.
